STRAIGHT SHOOTERS
An all new sketch and stand-up show in London
(PRWEB) December 9, 2003
with Andrew Doyle
ÂBoyish looks… complete confidence. (Edinburgh Evening News)
Andrew is a playwright, sketch writer, comedian, and actor. Eight of his plays have been staged to date, including his recent comedy Shamlet, which performed to sell-out houses at this yearÂs Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The show received unanimously good reviews, and was described variously as a Âcomedy classic (Edinburgh Evening News), Âa genuinely hilarious production (Scotsgay), and Âan in-your-face no-holds-barred feast of brash and wickedly funny comedy (Stage). Andrew also co-wrote a sketch show, Pop Tarts, which enjoyed a total sell-out run at the Pleasance during the festival. He has also written for NewsRevue, and has numerous acting credits.
Charlie Ross
ÂThe future of gay comedy (Boyz)
Charlie is a rising star on the stand-up comedy circuit, ÂOne to queue up for! (The Scotsman). He has played venues all over the UK, including the prestigious Comedy Store. Charlie has had two hugely successful runs at the Edinburgh Festival, CharlieÂs Angles in 2002 and Tracksuits and Munchkins in 2003 ÂHilarious, a gay, former PE teacher with film star looks! (Edinburgh Evening News). He is now based in London. As a comedian, singer, actor, and writer he has made many radio appearances, and hopes that his involement in Straight Shooters, as co-performer and co-writer, will show his broad range of talent.
Rob Sutton
ÂRob Sutton is funny, talented and gorgeous! (Scotsgay)
Rob is an actor and comedy writer. He graduated from the Guildford School of Acting in July last year, and the next day started rehearsing for Patrick WildeÂs You CouldnÂt Make It Up. The show enjoyed a sell-out run in Edinburgh before transferring to The New End Theatre Hampstead. Recent work includes LeonardoÂs Ring at The White Bear Theatre ÂOf particular note is Rob Sutton, who sparkles (The Stage) and Much Ado About Nothing at Boughton Monchelsea Place. Rob studied English and Drama at the University of Wales Aberystwyth with Andrew Doyle where they co-wrote My MotherÂs Flange and other stories. Rob is thrilled to be performing Straight Shooters at the Canal Café Theatre, as the venue is close to the Tube and the river is lovely in the winter.

You may have not intended to do so, but I think you have managed to express the state of mind that a lot of people are in. The sense of wanting to help, but not knowing how or where, is something a lot of us are going through.
