This is a blog I kept over ten days I spent holidaying in Melbourne in June 2002. Why? Because I always mean to keep a journal when I'm travelling, and I never get around to it. Blogging is the ideal substitute: I've always got my laptop, and I'm almost always near a net connection. And this way everyone I meet along the way can correct me when I'm wrong (hard to believe, but it does happen!). If this is your first visit, why not start from the beginning?
