how'd your camera survive? or have you invested in some mega-zoom lenses?

Ahhh yeah, that's a 200mm zoom at full stretch. From memory I shot that from the safety of a walkway along the top of the rocks, looking down a few metres on to the waves. Zoom lenses keep me dry.
I've done silly things with my poor camera before, but I'm not going to let it get much closer to a wave than this.
