Fence Sitting

I do sometimes wonder what I'm doing over here in the depths of winter when there's a beautiful sunny summer right now back in Perth.

It's looking kinda threatening out the window right now, but I'm going to ignore the dark clouds and head out into London to see what Tuesday brings. There's a talk by a photojournalist at the Apple store tonight so I might go check that out if I'm looking for a warm seat away from the cold and rain.

No, just because the wireless dropped out and I didn't get a chance to check before heading out for the day. Oops.

In other news, there's something weird about being in an Apple store as they're announcing crazy new products in the US, and there's absolutely no sign of announcements and new product hoopla in here. Except that every second demo laptop has someone tuned to a site with live updates.

Sunshine, smunschine. 38 or something here today and it's sweltering! You don't want it, really you don't. Though a little bit of Perfy sunlight might be nice, think about the lands of snow and ice and Scandi design just a short plane trip away... the V&A, the Tate, the Design Museum (and its 100 chairs in 100 days exhibition)... would you really trade that for Perth?

Yes the sky is blue in Perth! The willy-wag-tails are flitting about. But the street directory here has no Camden Markets, Covent Garden, Soho, James Park, Tate, V&A etc... A gem you must check out if you haven't already... (especially with your love of architecture)... go and enter the bizarre world of http://www.soane.org/
