Here's another view of the forest in Arnhem, our unintentional stopover point in the Netherlands.
It rained quite heavily on the last morning we were there, which obviously isn't a rare event based on the erosion along some of the streams. The canopy was thick enough to shelter from the worst of the showers, quietly snapping photos while listening to the pitter-patter of the rain on leaves and waiting for the rain to ease.
The soft dapplied light through the rain was worth the damp coat.

Hey Si, I was just wondering what camera(s) you use to take all of your awesome photos. Mind sharing that little secret?

Sure thing, Jesse.
I'm using a Nikon D70 with a few different lenses:
- Nikon 28-200mm zoom lens
- Nikon 50mm f1.8 lens
- Nikon 18-70mm zoom lens (which I left in London while I wandered around Europe to save weight)
The 50mm lens gives me great depth of field and is great for low-light and night photography, and the 28-200mm zoom was a lifesaver for cropping things out of travel photos.
Though for me the real secret is Photoshop: it's my right-hand man for tweaking almost every photo I take. It's usually just for working with RAW format files (also a lifesaver) or adjusting levels and colour balance. I can't imagine digital photography without it.
