A clean desk means...
As part of my motivation to get started yesterday morning, I decided it was time to clean my desk at work. Sick of losing pens and pencils, I've now got quite a stash hidden behind my monitors in a Dreamworld mug (with the name Mike on it -- such are the joys of raiding the kitchen cupboard at work).
So I figure it's Friday afternoon, most people at work are easily distracted, so tell me: what's on your desk?

I was going to post this photo, but the blunt pencil in the background kinda freaks me out:
Also on my desk is a stack of paper and the manual for my car stereo, which tells me there is no convenient way to hook my iPod up short of an fm transmitter. Poo.

I water spray bottle - to stop the cat from biting me, some cd's - one is Adam Thompson's soon to be released "Reconnected".
A large green plastic frog that makes squeaky noises when you squeeze it.
Some sony headphones, my canon ixus and a victorianox cybertool.
I wouldn't have posted the blunt pencil pic either - it's a little scary.

Well don't I feel dull and boring after hearing what you two have on your desk - such is the joys of working in a creative atmosphere one would suggest.
I have a work-related stress pyramid (being a stress pyramid from work rather than a pyramid for work-related stress) a bunch of trade journals and some random photos of a cafe which someone has printed off on the colour laser behind me and just left with me.
I've got nothing more camera related here than a limp USB transfer cable that can't be plugged in at the same time as my mouse because there's only one USB port.
Everything else here is company related: company travel coffee mug, company cards, company financial report ( I have no idea where that came from ) company drink bottle, company flag (!) and of course the company bomb threat emergency procedure.
Oh, and there are some family photos which appear to have belonged to the last person who worked here...I should get rid of them.

I am a university student from Hong Kong who is writing a journal article on Diamond and Graphite. I found the picture "pencil01" suitable to put on my article, and would like to ask for your permission. Please kindly reply as soon as possible to my email. Thank you~
